Behind every Lorrie Browne Interiors project that “magically” comes together is a team that comes together just as harmoniously to provide clients with unsurpassed service and results. When it comes to creating a living space that’s uniquely yours, our principals and associates all mean business and, together, make magic. (There’s method in the magic. Read about our systematic process here.)

Lorrie Browne, Principal Designer

Lorrie Browne is one of those rare right-brain/left-brain hybrids who possesses both a boundless imagination and a keen business sense. With her right-brain mastery of communication, Lorrie asks the right questions of clients and listens intently to understand how to elevate their experience of coming home. What makes a space “inviting”—a quality Lorrie strives to achieve with every design—is subjective, and she will find out what it means to you. Detail by detail, with as much emphasis on lifestyle as looks, Lorrie creates a shared vision with clients, using collaborative software to give it high definition. The process of bringing that vision to life one element at a time is the fullest expression of Lorrie’s creativity.

Lorrie’s left-brain capabilities enhance her creativity, making her a disciplined, results-oriented designer whose pursuit of beauty isn’t reliant on a capricious muse. Clients appreciate that she’s as organized as she is artistic.

Lorrie’s résumé is a testament to her well-roundedness. She holds an MBA in Finance and worked as a municipal bond analyst before earning her BS in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. She has also trained with the Sustainable Furnishings Council to become a Greenleader Accredited Professional.

Together with her husband and business partner, Tim, Lorrie makes service and charitable causes a priority. Closest to her heart are animal rescue and advocacy efforts including their non-profit, the Palm Beach Shelter Dog Project.  She also volunteers at Palm Beach Animal Care & Control. Lorrie and Tim share their Wellington home with two rescue dogs—Calvin and Cash—and an ongoing parade of foster dogs. As the dogs are part of the family, she’s designed the home to withstand their exuberance!

Tim Chance, Project Manager

Tim manages the practical aspects of all interior design projects including scheduling, contractor and vendor relations, and on-site project management. Tim shares responsibility with Lorrie for client care and communications. He’ll give you a clear understanding of what to expect at the onset of a project and implements time-tested business systems to keep everything on track.

Like Lorrie, Tim holds an MBA, with a concentration in Management and Strategy. In addition to his Project Manager role, Tim takes charge of the firm’s marketing.
Tim also enjoys their non-profit work, specifically volunteering at the shelter, fostering and matching the perfect dog with each family.

Monique Stemper, Finance & Administration Manager

A self-confessed shelter magazine junkie with at least half a dozen subscriptions, Monique feels fortunate to have landed a role at Lorrie Browne Interiors that combines her expertise in finance with her passion for interior design. Monique began her career in systems and corporate finance, first at Accenture and then Kraft Foods. She holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance as well as an MBA. In her current “dream job,” as she calls it, Monique and her team expedite orders, track expenses and payments, and help ensure projects are on time and in budget. When each and every shipment arrives promptly and precisely for each phase of your project, our trusty associate Monique is to thank.

When she’s not crunching numbers, Monique escapes into worlds of words—but no electronic readers for her! She relishes the feel of a real book in her hands. A mother of two, Monique serves as a volunteer and treasurer at several nonprofit organizations devoted to children and families including Saint Sebastian Project of Denver, which she co-founded with her husband, Jeff, to enhance and support sports programs in Catholic schools.
